Beautiful day
Today is gonna be a beautiful day. In fact, it is already a beautiful day.
Sunday was a very stressful day for me as I had a very tight schedule; church, wedding, church, cook, etc. I didn't even have the opportunity for a five minute nap. Went to bed feeling like all my bones had been broken with a sledgehammer. O my was I tired. Felt no relieve from the tablets of paracetamol I had popped into my mouth.
Now you cannot imagine the excruciating pain and tiredness I felt yesterday. It was cruel. Yes cruel. Yesterday was Monday, the beginning of the week, why should I feel this way?
I struggled through the day, yawned about 10 times every hour. In fact I struggled to stay awake. I didn't even remember to read my morning Atoke Monday Morning Banter.
Today is gonna be different I know.
Today is a beautiful day.
Let's not forget that we are not in a war situation. We are in a conflict situation. Take ownership of the situation
Be conscious.
Look out.
In the event that there is a blast, please take cover. Dock as low as possible or lie down flat away from the sound. While lying flat begin to think of 1001 possibilities of dealing with the situation and staying alive. It is not a time to take pictures or stand close to the blast spot looking.
Having heard the blast, it is a confirmation that you are still alive. Be calm. Look for a place to dock. Do not just run without a direction.
Yes adrenaline is pumping but please be in charge of the situation.
There must be a reawakening in us.

Inverted sunshine
So this morning I work up to a rainy day. I had meeting @ 10 am with a client meeting for the first time and the rain just won't stop. Anyway hustler wen I be, it would take more than rain to stop me men. So I hurriedly had a warm shower and was dressing up when I realised that the I had forgotten the documents I was to present to the client at the office.
Olboy see gobe. And rain dey fall. How I wan tey go office first before meeting up with the client? Wahala. Anyway as girl wen don fine don fine, I rushed out of the house without any makeup on o. Gat to face Lagos traffic on a rainy day.

Multicoloured Strands
It a rainy day today and my thoughts are kinda disjointed at the moment. Am thinking of the kidnapped girls from Chibock and neighbouring villages up north in Nigeria. Am thinking about the 20 kidnapped earlier in the year, the over 200 kidnapped in April and the recent 11 girls. Please #bringbackourgirls already.
